My brother Andre Salz near one of his paintings now in the collection of Ryder University.
  “The illusion of space the painter creates needs to be open enough to allow the viewer to enter in his or her own way. I choose to depict closely observed simple subjects such as one or two trees. I find that far from being a restriction, the limit imposed unlocks endless possibilities and mysteries that seeing the world provides."
